FAQ

NUT BUTTERS

THE WHAT AND THE WHY

What is a 100% nut butter?

A 100% nut butter is a product made exclusively from ground nuts, with no other ingredients added.

This means you’ll find just one ingredient in its composition: the nut itself. They contain no added sugars, oils, additives, or preservatives.

This type of spread lets you enjoy the nut’s authentic flavor and all its nutritional properties, while keeping the process simple and natural.

At The Nut Club, we craft our 100% nut butters by carefully selecting the nuts and using processes that preserve their aroma, texture, and quality. The result is a pure, natural butter that stays true to the original ingredient.

What are the Mix creams from “The NutClub”?

Mix spreads are a range of spreads made primarily from nuts, combined with other carefully selected natural ingredients.

While they retain a high nut content, these recipes incorporate additional ingredients to create new flavor combinations, add different textures, and deliver a more original, varied experience.

The goal of Mix spreads is to explore new ways to enjoy nuts without losing the quality and natural character that define our products.

How do Mix creams delas 100% nut creams differ?

The main difference lies in the composition.

100% spreads are made with just a single ingredient: the nut. They are pure products that preserve the nut’s flavor and properties just as they are.

By contrast, Mix spreads combine nuts with other
natural ingredients to create different flavor profiles and add new textures.

Both options share the same product philosophy: quality ingredients, natural recipes, and careful preparation.

Are TheNut Club's nut butters a higher-quality product than others?

At The Nut Club, we carefully select specific varieties for each product. We verify the freshness, quality, and aroma of the nuts right at the source.

We work with domestically sourced, locally grown hazelnuts and almonds, cultivated using sustainable practices, and maintain direct relationships with local farmers.

What is the difference between pure hazelnut spread and other hazelnut spreads?

Our 100% nut butters are made with a single ingredient: nuts.

Many hazelnut spreads on the market often include sugar, cocoa, vegetable oils, or other added ingredients.

Where do the nuts used by The Nut Club come from?

Hazelnuts and almonds are of Spanish origin.

We firmly believe that products from our land can offer superior quality to many
imported nuts. In addition, working with local sourcing allows us to
ensure greater freshness and better control over the food supply chain.

In the case of cashews, since they are not grown in Spain, they must be imported, although the entire processing is carried out at our facilities.

What is the shelf life of nut butters?

All our products have their best before date printed on the packaging.

This date remains valid even once opened, since during the roasting process the water content is reduced to a minimum, preventing the growth of microorganisms.

Just remember to keep the packaging tightly closed and stored properly. It should be kept in a cool, dry place away from light.

OTHERS

OTHER INFORMATION

Is the oil separation natural, and is the cream still safe to consume?

Yes. Oil separation is a completely natural process, since all nuts contain their own natural oils. If you stir it with a spoon, it will become smooth again.

Our production process minimizes this separation, but factors such as transport or environmental conditions can cause it.

Nut butters where the oil never separates usually contain hydrogenated fats or other added ingredients to prevent it. Our nut butters do not contain trans fats.

Is it necessary to keep the creams in the fridge?

It depends on personal preference.

Technically, refrigeration isn’t necessary, although keeping them in the fridge can help reduce natural oil separation and better preserve freshness once opened.

Additionally, the cold gives a thicker texture that can be ideal for some preparations.

Who manufactures The Nut Club's nut butters?

Unlike many companies in the industry, at The Nut Club we produce and package all our products entirely at our own facilities.

Our facilities hold top-tier certifications in food safety and quality.
