A sweet, simple recipe that’s perfect for any time of day. Crepes pair perfectly with the creaminess and crunchy touch of hazelnut cream, along with the freshness of fruit. A classic with an irresistible twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 80 g oat or wheat flour
  • 200 ml milk or plant-based drink
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter (for the pan)
  • 2–3 tablespoons of crunchy hazelnut cream

For the topping

  • Fresh fruit (banana, strawberries, berries)
  • Chopped hazelnuts
  • A drizzle of honey or syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the egg, flour, milk, and pinch of salt until you have a smooth, lump-free batter.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan and add a little oil or butter.
  3. Pour in a small amount of batter and spread it into a thin layer.
  4. Cook each crepe for one or two minutes on each side until lightly golden.
  5. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  6. Spread each crepe with crunchy hazelnut cream and top with fresh fruit.
  7. Fold or roll up the crepes and finish with chopped hazelnuts or a drizzle of honey if desired.
