Dates with cashew cream and dark chocolate

A sweet, simple, and very satisfying snack. The contrast between the sweetness of the date, the creaminess of the cashew cream, and the rich touch of dark chocolate creates an irresistible bite. Perfect for a healthy treat or an energy boost.

Ingredients:

  • 8–10 natural dates (pitted)
  • 2 tablespoons of cashew cream
  • 50 g of dark chocolate

For the topping (optional)

  • Chopped nuts
  • Grated coconut
  • Flaky salt

Preparation:

  1. Cut the dates in half if they are not pitted.
  2. Fill each date with a small amount of cashew cream.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in short intervals.
  4. Coat the dates in the chocolate or drizzle it over the top.
  5. Place them on baking paper and, if desired, add nuts, grated coconut, or a pinch of salt.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes until the chocolate hardens.
