Tostada con aguacate y crema de pistacho

Avocado toast with pistachio cream

A different kind of toast—creamy and full of contrasts. The pistachio cream brings an intense, nutritious touch that pairs perfectly with avocado. To finish, you can let your creativity run wild with the toppings: we chose pomegranate and nuts to add freshness and a crunchy touch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (wholemeal or sourdough)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of 100% pistachio cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • Toppings to taste. Pomegranate, chopped nuts and seeds.

Preparation:

  1. Toast the bread slices in a toaster or skillet until golden and crispy.
  2. Peel the avocado, remove the pit and add it to the toast or mash it lightly with a fork. Add a pinch of salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Top with pistachio cream to taste.
  4. Finish with pomegranate, chopped nuts and seeds. You can experiment with other toppings according to your preferences and create your own combination.
